All families participating in the Accokeek Christian Cooperative are required to pay an annual membership fee. Members are welcome to join the program for Lunch and Fieldtrips without participating in classes. The ACC Program Fee includes the facility fee for maintenance, administrative fees, and insurance. We strive to limit the fees to what is most necessary. Our administrative team is entirely volunteer and look forward to serving you and the community.

LUNCH TIME

The Hall is open for Lunch from 12:00 pm-12:50 pm for lunch. There is access to a microwave and refridgerator on campus. Families are welcome to pack a picnic and eat on the grounds under the pavilion or on the grass. We ask that you be responsible for your trash and keep Christ Church Clean.

CAMPUS PARTICIPATION

Parents or guardians must remain onsite with students or assign a responsible adult to their children under 13 while they attend classes. Students 13 or older may be dropped off for classes, but an adult contact must be assigned and staff or ACC Directors must be made aware prior to the beginning of the program. Students must be picked up on time, or the drop off privilege will be revoked. Parents are not required to wait in the classrooms unless otherwise specified by the teacher.

Unlike other cooperatives, we do not require parents to teach or act as classroom aides. Each teacher is an independent contractor and provides the structure for their class. They may request help from parents or older students, but it is not a requirement to join the program.
